Organic farm

At Organica, we understand that a good product comes from a good farm. That's why we always choose the best suppliers and invest in our own farm system to produce products of guaranteed quality.

ORGANICA'S FARMS

1- ORGANICA LONG THANH ORGANIC FARM, DONG NAI

Area: 2 hectares.
Cultivated crops: tropical vegetables, herbs, and fruit trees.
This is Organica's first farm, invested in at the beginning of 2013. We developed this farm to supply organic food stores in Ho Chi Minh City and also as a place for customers and partners to visit and see firsthand the organic farming process of Organica.

On November 4, 2015, Organica Dong Nai farm received organic certification according to the standards of the European Union and the US Department of Agriculture from the Control Union organization. Annually, the organization conducts reassessments of the work process, cultivation, and compliance with the regulations set forth by the US and European organic standards. In consecutive years, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021, Organica Long Thanh farm achieved USDA and EU organic farming standards.

2-ORGANICA GARDEN, BA VI, HANOI.

Besides its farm in the South, which meets US and European organic standards, Organica also has an organic farm in Ba Vi, Hanoi.

The Ba Vi farm is a small farm with an area of approximately 5,000 m2, growing more than 30 types of vegetables and fruits characteristic of Northern Vietnam. In 2017, 2018, and 2019, the Ba Vi farm consistently followed the assessment process and achieved USDA & EU organic certification.

The Ba Vi farm has been under close supervision by the organic certification consulting company Peterson since 2015, shortly after Organica's farm in Long Thanh (Dong Nai) became the first tropical vegetable farm in Vietnam to achieve international certification. Organic farming must adhere to basic principles such as not using chemical fertilizers, chemical pesticides, herbicides, growth stimulants, preservatives, or genetically modified seeds or ingredients.

Ba Vi Organic Farm is the source of seasonal vegetables and fruits for Organica Hanoi stores.

ORGANIC FARM PARTNERSHIPS

Besides its own farms, Organica also partners with several other farms to grow vegetables and fruits according to organic standards, providing investment, technical support, and product buyback agreements.

Because Organica is a retail chain selling organic food, including fruits and vegetables, it needs a diverse range of products to meet customer needs. Organica does not aim to invest in entire farms to supply all its retail stores and compete with farmers, but rather wants to cooperate with farmers, helping them to manage the output of their farms and gardens.

Therefore, from its inception, Organica has sought partners and farms that align with its business direction and criteria to jointly invest in organic farming according to international standards. Organica invests in farms to ensure a consistent initial supply of vegetables and fruits, while also serving as model farms for partners to visit and learn from, applying best practices to their own farms.

Currently, Organica's network of affiliated farms is located in Lam Dong, Binh Phuoc, Dong Nai, Phan Rang, and Hanoi. For each farm, Organica works closely with them, from selecting suitable crops based on soil and climate conditions; ensuring successful cultivation and marketability; providing farming methods; supporting the purchase of high-quality raw materials; maintaining farming logs; and guaranteeing the purchase of the majority of the output. All farms adhere to standardized organic farming processes to complete the transition and work towards organic certification.

Due to the diverse demand for vegetable and fruit products in stores, Organica is continuing to seek partners to expand its network of internationally certified organic farms.
